Weekend trip to Steamboat

Our first trip out of town since the holidays, we had a 5 day weekend up in Steamboat Springs, Doug got a day of boarding in for the first time in 2 years, I caught up a little more on scrap booking and Caleb was introduced to sledding (without being pulled by one of us) The weather was beautiful and fairly warm for outdoor activities, and there was a lot of snow from previous weeks.

Grandma Cindy gave Caleb a Thomas the train set, he was obsessed with watching it go around and around, this time from under the table

Doug and Caleb's first run down the hill, at this point Caleb is more concerned about these new gloves that are too big than the upcoming ride

Mostly a view shot of the ski mountain and all the pretty snow but also the end of the sled run

Caleb being towed back up the hill, he doesn't have to do any work for all the fun

Caleb getting ready to go with me, and the new sibling, almost our whole family!

Caleb in the small sled coming down by himself, clapping the whole way

21 months and counting down the last few weeks

I apologize for the lack of posting lately, we have been battling computer software/program (Kodak) issues related to our camera and downloading, which are still not resolved, but I found a way around them this morning. We have been keeping busy with our normal routines and holidays, I try to take advantage of any free time (nap time) that I have to scrapbook Caleb's baby book. I am hoping to get through this past holiday season before the new baby's arrival in less than a month! We have been making bi-monthly trips to the doctor, nothing too exciting to report other than the heart rate at the last appointment was up 20 bpm just to keep everyone on their toes as to the sex of this new little one. Doug's new soccer season starts this weekend, even with a possibly fractured wrist bone from a bicycle accident last week, and he has a work trip coming up next week, hopefully the baby will not decide to make an early arrival. Caleb has been learning a lot and expanding his vocabulary and sign language on a daily basis. He just learned to say "baby" at Easter mass to go along with the sign for it, to which he used to say "poo poo".

Pushing cars on the hot tub cover...one of my favorite things to do when it is warm enough to go outside

Pushing cars on my new "older brother" car blanket from one of Doug's co-workers

I want in on this belly profile photo taking...how do I look as a pregnant person...I think I am having a boy, I carry pretty low

A short visit to a park for some swinging after some home depot shopping

And some big boy sliding by myself...weeee

After one of my finger painting masterpieces

36 Weeks plus, less than a month to go

Getting closer, feeling large and a little uncomfortable, but excited to find out all the unknowns of who this little one will be. Anyone who wants to make any guess as to the sex, birth date, weight etc. feel free to leave a comment on the this or the previous post (there are two guesses so far)
