We hope everyone had a wonderful early Easter this year. We had a great time with family and watching Caleb get into the holiday festivities a little more this year. In an effort to create as much time to be with different family members on Easter we attended Easter Vigil mass, which we didn't know would be over 2 hours long!! I have to say Caleb did great for a little boy who doesn't sit still, he loved all the candles and trying to blow out the olympic type torch that was ablaze 10 feet away. The morning began with him spying a new choo-choo by his easter basket and candy that the easter bunny had left. Grandma Cindy came over for breakfast, an easter egg hunt and a walk to balance out the cinnamon rolls and candy.

Discovering the choo-choo that came from Oregon with milk in hand (no snuggling this morning)

Is it following me? Notice the wrist brace on Doug's arm...he had a bad wreck on his bicycle the week before, now a couple weeks later it is official that he fractured a small bone in his wrist and he is in a hard cast until the middle of April

More playing with the train, trying to figure out how it works

Caleb got some bubbles in his basket and for the first time is interested in catching/popping them...and can now say "bubble"

Some new construction vehicles from Grandma Cindy

Trying to eat the playdoh easter eggs from the Caplingers

My first easter egg hunt in the front yard, the backyard was covered in slushy snow from the night before

Comparing eggs, and trying to get them open

Yummm, raisins in this egg, not quite as good as the M&M's but they'll do

In the afternoon, we went to the great grandparent's house for dinner, ladder golf, dominoes and more easter festivities. Unfortunately the camera did not make many appearances, but here is great grandma and Caleb playing with the little trains from the domino set
