What a whirlwind last week was, we celebrated Halloween, ie trick or treated at least 5 times, the good news is the kids wore their costumes so much the everyday laundry is minimal! Rachel had her 6 month check up on Monday...she is healthy and strong but is our petite baby girl. She only weighed in at 14.5 pounds, and is a little over 26 inches long. Everyone except Doug has been battling a cold, but not so bad as to enjoy a very unconventional Halloween week weather wise, I am not complaining though, I think I could handle a mid 70's clear blue sky every day of the year. Both outdoor soccer and softball are done with for the year, and both teams were league champions. Doug is playing a lot of indoor soccer, the status of professional soccer is that Doug is on the Lightning as a non contract player so at this point he practices with them and is in line to play in games if there are injuries etc. They did not want to lose him so told him to play games with an affiliated semi-pro team. As it turns out he is practicing with them as well, although not a lot recently since he has spent a couple weeks out of town for work.
