Happy Easter

We hope everyone had a happy easter, ours was busy, and fun especially being Rachel's first. Watching both kids do the easter egg hunt was fun, Rachel picked up on it very quickly, and spotted a few on her own, most of the time Caleb would beat her to them, once she pointed them out. They both loved the treats and small gifts that the Easter Bunny left behind, Caleb had been asking for a "chocate bunny" for at least a week, I don't even know how he knew they existed. 18 eggs were dyed in record breaking fashion and about 5 were broken from hard squeezes, drops and various 2 year-old treatment of objects. I might have helped with one, as by the time I got everything they needed all the eggs were done (Photographers miss all the fun). I put the Bowie house up for rent the next day and have been keeping busy showing and answering phone calls around taking care of the kids and preparing for Rachel's birthday, while Doug was hitting the books for several hours in preparation for his PE exam. As of yesterday I think the house is officially taken, so now on to the clean-up phase next month.

Dying eggs with daddy, that egg was dropped, if anyone was wondering

Are these two looking for more eggs, or alcoholic beverages?

March Madness

March has come and gone and it would appear that we had spring in March and now have winter in April, I wonder if spring will come back or if we will jump right into summer at some point. Doug had two outdoor soccer games in almost "hot" weather and now has had two in a row cancelled due to several inches of snow on the ground. We were getting pretty used to playing outside and now have been forced back in, although this week we have had a couple nice days. Rachel is getting around more and more, pushing her walker, and walking around the furniture, even walking with just one of our hands. She now has 4 teeth, and is getting ready for her big 1st birthday in 2 weeks....can you believe it a year already. Caleb continues to make us laugh with the things he says, and is truely a little parrot these days. He and Rachel enjoy chasing eachother around the house, wrestling and laughing at eachother.
