Wow, a year goes by fast when you measure it with your baby's first birthday, and for me even faster with Rachel than Caleb. Rachel had unfortunate timing of getting a low grade but persistent fever the day after her actual birthday, her one year old check up at the doctors (shots) the next and then her birthday party on Saturday. Well to make a long story short the theme of her party was "It's my party I can cry if I want to ... and I did" although the party seemed to make her happy, she was in a much better mood as the party went on, not herself, but not miss crabby pants either. We had a great time with family and friends, Caleb probably thought it was his party since most of the young people were his age, he helped open presents, blew out the candle and tried to steal everyones attention, besides Rachel wasn't in the mood. So first things first, her vital stats, She weighed in at 18 lbs (8%), was 30" tall (80%) and other than a low appetite and mild fever was healthy and on track.
