Early April (soccer and moving)

April started a new chapter in our lives as Caleb started playing soccer, and while he might not end up loving soccer they way that Doug does we hope that he will want to participate in several sports and activities over the next several years. Caleb was the baby on the team and it showed, but I think he enjoyed his teammates and especially the games that were really infact drills. April also brought a couple weekends of moving Doug's dad out of Doug's childhood house and Rachel's 3rd birthday followed by Easter a couple days later.

The Raptors getting ready for their first game of the season (Doug, Ethan, Leroy, Cole, Caleb, Lauren and Angel)

Caleb actually did a really good job not using his hands during the game, only when they weren't playing like above

Caleb running hard, but probably not sure why or where he is going

A mixed age group (2-31) game of duck, duck goose on the front lawn after most of the moving was complete

Rachel's turn

The moving crew, some of us are more helpful than others, but we were all there! (Doug, Ryan, Ty, Russ, Arden, Jim, Brittany, Carmen, Taylor, Caleb and Rachel)

A Lazy January & February

January and the start of the new year in general were pretty low key for us, Doug attempted to play indoor soccer like usual, but found that his injury from the spring was still bothering him, we did play volleyball again after a couple years hiatus, we had fun, but did not end up with the greatest record against some really tough teams. I got braces put on and other than a few outings in the limited snow that fell around here, we stayed pretty close to home, which feels strange to us.

Here I come

I think this might be a blind jump for Caleb with his hat pulled over his eyes!

Rachel loves swinging, but quickly got back into sledding
