Washington mini-vacation

The second weekend in June we made a quick but fun trip up to Gig Harbor, Washington for our nephew John's baptism, we had a good time playing tennis in the backyard, watching the kiddos play and interact with eachother, both John and Rachel made pretty major milestones on their newfound walking skills. On Sunday after the baptism, my mom, sister and brother made the trip up from Oregon to celebrate the baptism and Caleb and my birthdays. The weather was fairly nice (especially compared to what we left behind in CO) and we made a short trip to the shoreline of the sound on Monday just before heading back home, kind of like going to the beach only it is rocky and doesn't have crashing waves. Caleb and Anna loved throwing rocks and we did a little exploring. The pool is set up, cold and ready...at 10am right after we arrive

John and Rachel, the one year olds...Rachel is 5 weeks older

Rachel found a princess push toy, the tennis court was always busy with someone riding or pushing something...and a few times playing tennis (naptime)

Caleb absolutely loved this 4-wheeler that John got for his birthday
